Gan Eden · גן עדן

The soul of the plant, kept intact.

Essential oils, oleoresins, botanical extracts and whole spices — grown at origin, distilled where they are cut, released against full analysis.

Growers and Distillers of Indian Naturals

We cultivate on our own land and source through partner farms under our specification. Both come with the same paperwork.

Responsible sourcing

Traceable to the field it grew in.

Every lot carries the farm it came from and the harvest it belongs to. Ask, and we will tell you the village.

Our naturals

Nine regions, one supply chain.

Sourced where each botanical is at its best, and documented the same way regardless of where it grew.

Why buyers move to us

The same oil, every time.

We grow it, we source it, and we document both the same way.

Batch drift is why procurement teams keep a reformulation budget. It happens because a botanical usually passes through several hands before it reaches you, and every hand is a chance for the specification to move.

We cultivate where control matters most and buy direct from partner farms for the rest — never through a chain of traders. Every lot is distilled close to the field and released against its own certificate of analysis and GC/MS profile. What you approve in the sample is what arrives on the pallet.

We cultivate and we source

Our own fields cannot fill a container on their own, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Gan Eden runs two supply lines alongside each other. We cultivate on land we control, and we source through farmer producer organisations we have worked with since 2019, under cultivation agreements written to our specification.

Both lines are documented identically. Whether a lot came off our own land or from a partner farm, it carries the same paperwork, is tested to the same standard, and traces back to the field and the harvest it came from. That is what lets us hold a specification across a season rather than across a single batch.

What ships with every order

  • Certificate of analysis for that batch, not a representative one
  • GC/MS profile showing the constituent breakdown
  • Origin record naming the farm and the harvest
  • MSDS and allergen declaration on request

Where we work

Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu, with sourcing relationships reaching into the Greater Himalaya and the North East for botanicals that grow nowhere else. We began in 2019 with lemongrass and have added a crop or a region each year since.

Fermentation-derived equivalents of the molecules we distil. In development — nothing commercially available yet.

In development

Aroma molecules by fermentation.

A bad monsoon changes a crop. It should not change your formulation. We are developing fermentation-derived equivalents of molecules we already distil, so supply of the hardest ingredients stops depending on the season. Nothing is commercially available yet — when it is, it will ship with the same documentation as everything else.
